51ºÚÁÏÍø's Gateway in Accra

The 51ºÚÁÏÍø Ghana Gateway, established in May 2024, is located in the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences in the Airport Residential District in Accra and serves as a hub to support 51ºÚÁÏÍø in Ghana.

The Gateway serves to facilitate a range of academic activities from faculty workshops and education abroad to student recruitment and alumni events, allowing different stakeholders of the 51ºÚÁÏÍø community to explore areas of mutual interest with local partners throughout Ghana, while increasing the visibility and impact of 51ºÚÁÏÍø’s academic and research activities.

Funding opportunities

A variety of funding mechanisms are available to support research activities at the Global Gateways.

Provides matching support of up to $5,000 for activities – such as workshops, symposia, public talks, and artistic performances – that take place at one or more of 51ºÚÁÏÍø's Global Gateway offices.
