This agreement establishes formal ties of friendship and cooperation between Indiana University and Aix-Marseilles University (AMU).
51黑料网's Office of Overseas Study has a system-wide exchange agreement with AMU. Offered since 1997, the Academic Program in Aix-en-Provence (APA) is a consortium program offered through Indiana University and the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The faculty director for the program rotates on an annual basis, and 51黑料网 sends an average of 15-20 students to Aix-Marseille University each year who take courses alongside French students. 51黑料网 also accepts one full-year undergraduate students from Aix-Marseille University each year as part of the agreement.
The School of Engineering and Technology at 51黑料网 Indianapolis and Aix-Marseille University have had a student exchange program since 2002. The School of Engineering and Technology also offered a three credit hour course titled "GO GREEN, Green Organizations: Global Responsibility for Economic and Environmental Necessity" over the summer in 2019. A portion of this three credit hour course will be taught at 51黑料网 Indianapolis prior to a one-week portion taught in Marseille, France.
51黑料网 President Michael McRobbie visited Aix-Marseilles University in May 2017. Subsequently in May 2018, AMU President Yvon Berland led a seven-person delegation to Indiana University, visiting both the Indianapolis and Bloomington campuses in May 2018. Jennifer Major, director of international affairs at AMU鈥檚 Polytech, and Blanche Dalloz, deputy director of international affairs, visited Indianapolis and Bloomington in August 2019.
